f1) Attention 2007-2008 ASB and 2007-2008 Class Councils: The Leadership Banquet will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 7pm in the Auditorium. All student leaders from ASB and class council and their parents are invited to join in celebrating another terrific year. A delicious meal will be served in the auditorium at 7:00pm. Then @ 7:45 pm we will
begin the awards ceremony. If you and your family intend to participate in the meal, there is a form that must be turned in to Mr. Grillo by tomorrow morning with payment. You may still attend even if you do not take part in the meal. Please inform Mr. Grillo if this in the case. We invite all St. Monica faculty and administration join us in celebrating an exciting year at St. Monica catholic HS.
2) Submit your permission slips for Grad Nite and LMU Practice to Ms. Abdaem by Friday May 9.
3) Hiking in a rainforest, exploring an active volcano, white water rafting, soaking in a natural hot spring, swimming underneath a waterfall, ziplining, meeting and playing with Costa Rican children, helping restore endangered sea turtle nesting habitat: these are all activities we will be enjoying during next April’s Ecology field trip to Costa Rica!~ The invitation to attend this field trip is extended to freshmen and sophomores (next year’s sophomores and juniors):~ Join us for an informational meeting in Rm. 95 (Mr. Wengeler’s classroom) this Thursday during lunch. There will also be a meeting next Tuesday, May 13 at 6:30 pm for all parents and students interested in the trip. ~Come and

4) Seniors: See you senior class officers to take size orders for your senior t-shirts. They will cost $10.
5) ATTENTION MARINERS!! Tickets for Black Diamond Records' battle of the bands concert are NOW on sale ! The concert will be on Saturday May 17th from 4-7 at the Temple Bar, on Wilshire, just a couple of blocks from school. ~Tickets are only $10.00, so please come out and support us as well as the bands Calculator, Koalacaust and Teardrop Raygun, whose members are from our school! 6) Attention All Mariner Fans! Come out tomorrow night, Friday May 9th at 7pm, to cheer on the boys varsity volleyball team as they take on PlaceNameplacePilibos PlaceTypeHigh School for the first round of the C.I.F. playoffs at home. The team will be hosting a barbeque at 5:30 before the playoff game. We all know that Friday is a half day, so come back to school and enjoy some great food and then get ready for the volleyball game. Because this is a playoff game, there is an admission fee.
